What a week!! Time is flying by right now.

We had a great week with clients on both the buying and selling side. Congrats to our clients on closing on their amazing new construction home right in the heart of Solana Beach. This home offers a lifestyle that is hard to beat. Every home and client move has a story, and this one was a bit of a roller coaster that took months to finalize, with a few twists along the way. In the end, everything worked out, and we know our clients are going to love what this home offers. Check out the photos and details below. The market is getting exciting. We are seeing good listings that buyers are connecting with. We picked several great homes featured below and had to pare a few back because there were so many this week.

Tracie and I are in a unique position to meet many successful people from diverse backgrounds and learn from them. We see how they make decisions, assess markets, and form their views. It gives us a rare perspective and allows us to bring a broader context to our work and share that with our clients.

I recently attended a market and economic presentation from a local private bank that caters to high-net-worth clients and businesses. It was a very insightful meeting, with discussion around financial markets, stocks, real estate, the economy, and AI.

One takeaway was that interest rates are in a fairly tight technical and fundamental range, with no major expectation for dramatic moves up or down. The market has adjusted to current prices, rates, and supply levels, reaching more of a steady equilibrium. Current mortgage rates are more in line with long-term trends—the ultra-low rates we saw post-COVID were the anomaly.
